USCG-approved
Vessel Response Plan (VRP)

A Vessel Response Plan (VRP) is a mandated document for U.S. vessels, outlining procedures and resources to respond to oil or hazardous substance spills. Required by OPA 90, it includes notification processes, response resources, training, communication plans, and geographic specifics. The VRP aims to ensure a prompt, coordinated, and effective response to mitigate environmental and public health impacts in the event of a spill.

HudsonAnalytix works closely with its clients to develop, implement, and regularly update USCG-approved VRPs that enhances the effectiveness of a vessel’s response efforts.
